This was a garage kept grandma car for a good part of it's life. The dash was in very good shape. Odometer shows 98k. The yard cracked the top of the rear reflector trying (unsuccessfully) to open the trunk. I grabbed a minty fresh like-new drivers manual track and associated trim, wiper cowls, and a very clean aluminum donut spare. The upper windshield trim looked better than most. I wasn't out here looking for this and found it by accident. It's not likely that I'll be able to get back out there before I head back to GA.

The car is on row 13 at Barry's U-Pull-It in Theodore, AL.

Someone needed that window motor so fast they could not take 3 nuts off and so it the right way?

I would have loved to have that reflector and tail lights off they hadn't messed it up. Always good to have spare parts like that around as our cats get rarer by the day

This car stills shows on their inventory. I'm back in town and I may go out there for something unrelated. If there is anything of interest on this Cougar - I may be able to facilitate.

The interior looks so clean but I can’t think of a single piece I could use from it 🙁
I feel the same. It's such a waste.

That rear panel is damaged, but it's not terrible. It's probably a bitch to ship but maybe someone could use it? MN12s are getting fewer at my usual yards so anything decent feels like a waste, but I've already got such a pile of stuff. If I go out there, I'll probably grab the fender liners for said pile.

Here's the top/center of that reflector (the crack is probably ~2" across both sides of the lens):

I'm afraid it would be more in shopping than it's worth otherwise I would like it as a spare. I'd take the rear lights as well, for good spares. I need a decent one for the right hand side since I'll be doing Rod's mod for a kill switch. If you have an appetite for attempting to pull those, send me a PM.

Wish I had the space and money for the entire car. Always wanted to do a tube chassis pro-street build for Sick/Drag Week.

The driver's has a small chip on the inboard/trunk lid edge. The passenger looks decent and I'll grab it if it is. These are pics from the last time out.

I find myself hoarding/saving more stuff that I would have walked by and not given a second thought to in years past when I see these in a yard now. It's a fine line between having a garage full of useless crap and all the hard to find parts my cars will ever need on short notice.
