Recent discussion in a separate thread sparked the idea of how old we are. We suspect we're mostly middle aged, but are we? Are we all youngsters with the MN12 being our first (or one of our first) car? Or are we all a bunch of old retired guys with all the time in the world doing nothing but talking, working, or chatting it up here about our MN12s?

Grasshopper, you have no idea,lol.
You can spend a lifetime building a dream, and lose it in a moment.
That's a quote, possibly from kung fu, iavo, lol.

What sucks is when you're at the low end of a category. I'm lumped with people in an older decade, which makes me feel older.

Then again, maybe the dumb shit in my 20's makes me feel old?

At 62, the whole Y2K/millennium, 9/11 and the internet convergence, drew a line in the sands of time....
Yet, some how 2006 still seems futuristic....

Y2K, lol. I set up an original PC/XT clone I hadn't used in years, that was supposed to die with the rollover at midnight. We were playing D&D.
About dawn, we noticed the computer counting time happily.
I saw it in my basement yesterday; I may pull it out and see if it works. The mobos I bought in 99 have died; it'd be funny if an '88 era computer runs.

Not to sound cheesy but as one of the younger ones here it’s very inspiring and motivating to see what kind of cars and shops you guys have, it’s kinda proof that it gets better in some ways as it’s always been a dream of mine to have a really nice shop and be able to properly restore my t-bird. One day….

Always wanted a MN12 going back to my teenage years but never got one. Probably because they were a bit out of price range for an average dumbass teenager at the time.

I decided to treat myself and buy a fun/project car when I turned 30; ended up finding my Cougar. My Firebird was my turning 40 car. Don't know what I'll get next, hopefully I have quite a few more decade birthday crises cars left in me

I have a 97 Bird and am already planning for an 87 and a 77. :)

My wife is filing for divorce delighted at the prospect.
