Little Ice-Cable
4th Gear Poster

Car (and in most cases, everything else) photography 101:
Photography is about light.
Vertical light is bad - it is harsh, casts shadows, and washes out colors with intense contrast.
Horizontal light is good - find this 1-2 hours before sunset.
Take photos with the light source behind you.
For cars, take photos at waist height, and experiment above and below. "Top down" shots rarely do a vehicle justice.
Quartering shots often look best. When taking shots of either side of the car, turn the wheels away from the camera to expose the rim, not the treads, to the camera (as was said).
Good luck...![]()
The little trailer in the smoke makes this the hardest photo yet, 10/10Not a full on Daily but definitely a proven street car. Built 2v motor with a little bit of boost and Holley EFI running the show. Th400 and some QA1's amongst many other things

I'll get a good picture of mine when I can wash it after all of this rain.
It's going to be hard to beat that though.
How’d you get that car so low? Any speed bump issues? Do you bottom out over bumps or potholes?
It has QA1 coil overs, they’ve been in for a couple years now, and I’ve yet to bottom out or scrape anything at all, but getting a jack underneath it is a chore. How’d you get that car so low? Any speed bump issues? Do you bottom out over bumps or potholes?

It’s lower than my turbo coupe, and the chin spoiler on that car scrapes everything!
Tell me about your headlights. Got a better pic of them? They look good. Wish I had better options for my 94.Why not submit another one?![]()

That’s some really nice editing! Awesome
Those are 96/97 headlights and clear corners, that I pulled apart and painted the housing black.Tell me about your headlights. Got a better pic of them? They look good. Wish I had better options for my 94.
The 96-97 clear corners are no longer manufactured, but the 89-95 ones are still available
Damn shame. The 96-97 clear corners are so much better. But I understand, the 89-95 model range covers more cars so that's probably why they're still available.
Nobody has made any that he could resell......It covers more cars but I’d bet there’s more demand for the 96-97 ones. Attrition took out a lot more 89-95s be it rust, ABS issues, transmission issues etc. based on what I’ve seen within the greater MN12 community 96-97 4.6 cars seem way more common.
I’m surprised Bill hasn’t put any out at $250![]()
