I've been working on this MN12 for a minute. Added radiator and trying to show it some love.
I went out today to take her to the car wash. I started it up, put a little heat in the engine and as I was backing out of the driveway it stumbled and died. I don't drive it as much as I should, however when I attempted to re-fire it I had no power anywhere. Windows, Dome, Radio, Nothing!

I checked the fuses the best I could both under the hood and under the steering column. I found nothing wrong.
Can anyone provide a diagnosis here? I was on my lunch hour and was limited on time, so I manually pushed it back up the drive. I can't even roll up the darn windows now!

Thanks in advance.

A voltmeter would help you a lot. Could be a dead battery to blown fuses, vermin abused wires, etc.

Thank you, Sir.
I will dig out the old voltmeter as suggested. I was limited on time at lunch. I was just hoping someone had a magic answer for anything else to check as well.

If you have no power anywhere it has to be battery and or connections at the battery. First check voltage across both posts on the battery. I've also had cables (on a '97) break internally and cause the same. Start at the battery and find out where the voltage stops. I'm betting it's going to be pretty obvious.

I couldn't wait until quitting time! I went back out and sure enough it was the battery cables. I must say; I've never had one just quit and poop the bed while running with these symptoms. I was a little worried. Life's better with a voltmeter ;)

It took more than a wiggle. They were tight as ever, but I removed them from the battery and cleaned them up and voila!
