I put a gash in the soft line that connects both sides of the fuel rail. Can this line be replaced and if so, with what?

Thanks folks

I would think injection pressure rated fuel line should work. I've used it for 20 years with multiple hose clamps. Just changed out the line this year as it started to crack on the outside but the inside looked fine.

If you want to match the factory setup, it is nylon fuel line, but that stuff is a major PITA! It has to be heated to soften it so you can push it over the barb, but if you heat it too much, it just melts and kinks.
If you don’t want to deal with all that aggravation and you have room, regular fuel injection hose with some high pressure clamps works just fine too.

I've got some Gates fuel injection hose here that I used when I cobbled together my splitport rails. I used 2x 'fuel injection' style clamps on each end and had no problems. I bought a whole spool. How much do you need, I could send you a couple short pieces for shipping cost? I've got to go from Mobile, AL to Dalton, GA on Wednesday morning - potentially passing really close to you.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. You would have passed within 10 miles. Could have bought you a meal. I was picking up the 2014 Taurus I bought in Birmingham.

What type of clamps are you using. I'm supposing that I can't get them locally?

So I have some 1/4 HP fuel line intended for use with AN-style ends. I believe it would work. It would have to be heated in boiling water to fit and might work without clamps, but I'd rather have clamps. I just can't source anything locally other than cheap worm clamps. Where would I find the appropriate clamps?

If you’re using rubber fuel injection hose, use these style clamps

If you are using the vinyl hose that has to be heated to push on, that doesn’t use any hose clamp. However it is not 1/4”, it is 5/16”.

 I wonder if I should change out my aviation clamps with fuel rail clamps...

Nahhhhh... The fuel line I used was a bitch to get on and I used the clamps I had handy to ensure they would not come off.
