I caught this guy by accident when looking for a YouTube show to replace the shows I have to wait a week or more to watch and thought I would share it.
YouTube
Look up SimonFordMan
Here is a commentary by another viewer that pretty much sums up what I thought:
"Stumbled across this Youtube channel last night.
https://www.youtube.com/@SimonFordman
No talking, no hours of him blathering on, trying to inspire some sort of drama about the latest POS they dragged out of the woods/river/barn/backyard.
The camera angles and filming style are very "artsy" and are a breath of fresh air on YT. Those and the atmospherics make it feel like you're right there with him in the garage doing the work. I can only imagine the thought he puts into each of his videos. He also shows some ingenious solutions for the problems he encounters. Might be your cup of tea, might not be. I'd recommend the 1962 Galaxie video to start with."
I have been watching the videos of his 1986 F250 4x4 rebuild and all the crap he finds wrong and has to repair. I had an 80' F250 4x4, so I have a vetted interest in watching his videos. It will also put me to sleep at night.
Enjoy!
(dang, I just caught that I spelt bored wrong...)
