I'm considering a trip down to NC. It's a 3-hour drive, but five Thunderbirds there!

Whether or not I can justify the drive depends on saleable parts of course. Unfortunately the photos are blurry as usual.

What do you all need? Send me a message. Thanks!

The 93 has a 5.0, I doubt you’d be willing to get them (I wouldn’t either) but the motor mount brackets are very desirable. If it’s got the digital cluster it’s also very rare and desirable as supposedly the 85mph cap was removed for 93…(I will but if it has it)

The 80, woof. See if it has the factory recaros and document if so as I’m not convinced Ford ever actually equipped them.

I’ll try to think of anything else by the morning, I feel like there was something common I was looking for those cars would have but I’m blanking

Looks like the '80 has option A from the brochure. Very rare to see one with a console. I've never seen one with the Recaro seats in it.

I'm always on the lookout for a good '94-'97 black console armrest that isn't all peeling up. Grey factory sunroof/moonroof sun visors.

Non leather steering wheel and shift knob, manual seats.... kind of uncommon. Don't think they are worth much though but could be worth getting

Moog is a good brand. It looks like on Rockauto one of those is $45 before shipping, so $25 each is a good price if you need it, but not a killer deal. I’d offer $25 for the pair. Otherwise they are just going to sit back there and probably get scrapped with the car.

I could use the cluster surround and drivers seat cover. The surround probably cracked with my typing this.

The 97 cluster surround has all tabs broken. If it was good, I'd already have a buyer though. I have a tan on for sale if you're interested.

Which seat cover? The 97 beige?

Are those any good? They say made in China...

$25 a piece.
As noted, made in China. If the part numbers were K80055/3 instead of RK80055/3 then those would be Canadian or US made, but those are pretty rare these days. If you're just looking for something to put on your car they are probably okay, but I wouldn't bother with them. I'm pretty disappointed in Monte for scrapping the car before he put them on.

Made it home safely. This trip wasn't terribly productive, but I enjoyed the drive.

I just picked up a few pieces. Will post them for sale unless they're spoken for.

I couldn't recognize what was in the first pic until you pointed them out in the for sale thread, they look like pistol magazines lol I didnt know 96-97s had those, literally every one I can think of is body colored. My Cougar however has exactly one in the middle, which I thought was unique to 94-95 Cougars.

Sometimes the chase is better than the catch. Even when MN12s were common in junkyards in the chicago area I'd still leave with little to nothing of value(to me or anyone else), but I often enjoyed the trip to seedier/industrial areas or the car show of junkyards without any "look but don't touch signs".
