Forgive my ignorance on this subject.
My early Fox has sun visors that only have 1 mount, by the A pillar. They do not connect to the center of the car near the rearview mirror. Due to the age (it's a 79), the swivel mount must be worn out because if i get on it hard, the sunvisor swivels and hits me in the forehead. Super annoying. I'm trying to figure out the best way to fix this, and one obvious solution would be sunvisors from a different Ford platform.
Do the T-Birds/Cougars have sunvisors that also attach in the middle near the rearview mirror? And do they come in grey? I'm looking at different platforms to see if i can swap in different visors. I can fashion some way to mount the middle brackets no matter which way i end up going. There is a spring on the original visors that i may try to shim to make work, But just in case i'm trying to cover my bases.
