Mostly broken, but if you need anything, please send a message asap. There's also a 2nd gen Mark VIII here.

how is the back glass/ weather stripping around it? mine is peeling bad and has some spots where it looks lifted or warped. I would definitely consider having some spare glass and rubber

Edit: ill assume this is a more tasking job than its worth and i was late to find this thread but in the future i would also be interested in 94/95 front bumper covers

This car was apparently hit from behind and pushed into the vehicle in front. The rear, including the glass, was completely damaged; the window trim was mostly peeled off. I wouldn't have the means to ship glass anyway though.

Also too much of a hassle to ship or even to pick up. Any local yards where you are?

@LukesCougar
So are you thinking about putting a 94/95 bumper on a 96/97. I've been eyeing that possibility myself. Like this guy:

How is the cluster surround and radio bezel?

Did you all see the mileage on this junkyard Thunderbird? What a shame. It was very clean, too, with good paint. Airbags deployed. If it hadn't been for the accident, this car would have had a lot of life left.

I did see this. Only 57k miles. What a shame 😞

That is exactly what i want to do. Not a fan of 96+ front cover.

I like them fine. The reason I'm interested is that I would like to give my car the typical 90s two-tone look; think Mercedes or Lexus LS. The 94/95 bumpers have a straight line dividing upper and lower, lower being everything below the fender; so painting would be very straight forward.

It would be a huge project though. Likely won't get past the idea stage

Something I have always wanted and have yet seen at the yard is the bass molding that goes under the trunk window in the trunk. I waste a chunk of space with my bass box.

I don't know if the 93 and 98 wheels are the same, or how the colors would compare.

@XR7-4.6 - you're the resident parts interchangeability expert - what say you? :)

The "Midnight black" in the 98 is more of a dark gray - a couple shades lighter than the Ebony used 93-97. I'm guessing the wheel is going to be darker than mine, and correspondingly not quite match my air bag... if I could get a matching Ebony air bag to go with it I wouldn't mind, but I know you can't ship those... :zdunno:

That sounds like a road trip!

Make it happen, cap'n!
