I've never taken those off of a car. How difficult are they to remove without damaging?

How difficult are they to remove without damaging?

Very easy. You simply remove the 9mm nut from the interior; then you pry up starting at the trunk lid side; then you pull them rearward to disengage from the front piece.

Oh, first though you may have to disengage the fasteners along the bottom edge trim of the rear window.

The only way to damage (=bend) them is if you forget about the nut.
