Hello all, I am looking for some options on a complete replacement trans for my car. I have a 97 4.6 with PI cams and intake and 3.73 gears. The trans is starting to slip and instead of having it rebuilt i would rather just buy a complete trans. If anyone has any experiences/recommendations on that i would appreciate the input. I live in the Tampa FL area if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

Time to swap in a manual. 
Is there a write up on this? My trans is starting to slip on my base. I have a Supercoupe drivetrain. I'm thinking I'd like to take that manual trans and swap that into my base for now. Looking for a write up.Time to swap in a manual.

I pretty much followed that write up to a tee, with a few tweaks here and there.
There was a good post with all pics on a random site I found, I have it saved to my computer, when I get to it I’ll post it here.

Here is that link, it has some great pictures, even though you're swapping in a manual from another SC it won't require any cutting or drilling other than the pedal. But, these should be helpful.
