Build idea: realistic SVT TBird.

I coulda swore i saw a old privately filmed video on YouTube of the red SVT T-Bird on display at some kind of big car event during 96-98..... it's short but I know it mentioned it was the only version that survived.... I'll see if I can find it again. It was a few yrs ago I saw it....

That's the SVE concept. I haven't ever seen it documented besides its hotrod magazine article. I hope you find that video!

This fits with what I remember in 98 or so; dohc, blower manual option.
 
There was a member from Michigan on SCCOA about 10 years ago - former Roush employee; who managed to buy one of the M90 supercharged 4.6L engines with the T45 from their warehouse clean out. It was installed into a 95 SC and made 390 WHP on a conservative tune for what its worth.

No; I have other sources. No blower. Never was intended for the SVT Tbird .. that was added after the project was shut down.

Me. Once we get it all finalized, I want to build 5.

At this point since no one is responding to me, I am gonna kinda copy the SVE look. Basically copy the front bumper, and graf a mark 8 lower bumper in to use their exhaust tips

So, parts list.

5) 96-97 Tbirds.
5) Mark 8 rear bumpers.
5) 94-95 SC center consoles/seats/speedo gauges (holy $hit)
5) 96-98 SVT cobra donors
5) 4.6 bell housing M5R2 casings
5) SC M5R2s (I have 3)
5) sets of Cobra R wheels

The actual SVE didn’t use a Mark VIII rear bumper or tips, it was just a stock 94-95 bumper cover.

There was actually a guy on TSTSNBN not too long before the shit hit the fan there that did a SVE clone out of a 97, I don’t know if he ever finished it but he had almost all of the right pieces gathered including the Cobra DOHC (or at least a mark one with a Cobra intake) and a lot of other minute details based on our input. He is or was in the FB group but I don’t think he made it over here annoyingly.

Again, not doing an SVE Clone. Production style SVT. Since the old SVT guys won't respond, I'm gonna do what you guys suggested and run with it how I think it should look.

My bad. Shoulda been more specific: SVE front bumper look.

I haven't drawn something in years, but I'll try to create what I'm thinking.

5 is a lot, but I have a vision of lining them all up, in different color/interior combos, and calling them the "revived Five".

Corny as fuck I know, but still.

I meant to buy my SVE. How much are rusted out 96 Cobras going for out there ??? 🤔

IIRC he bailed on that project 2 years ago. He had a bodybuilding pic on FB😂if it's the same guy
