Would anyone have a diagram for the cooling flow direction on a 93 Mark VIII? My lower hose (under the thermostat housing) is cold and my upper hose (off the radiator into crossover pipe) is warm. Now if the coolant flow is reversed (a la GM LT1) that would be normal, but if not, that would mean my thermostat is stuck, correct?

Cold? Or cooler than the other? If it's cold, then there is no circulation. Heat rises.

Coolant flows through the upper crossover at all times, so the temperature of the crossover will mimic engine temps. While the thermostat is closed some coolant should still flow through the oil filter adapter through the top half of the thermostat housing up the hose to the driver's side of the crossover.
