I am having trouble with intermittent starts and was going to throw a CPS on the car and after searching around my engine, I cannot locate it!
All the videos I’ve located indicate a simple sensor w connector and 2 8mm bolts.

The location of the sensor in research videos I found and where mine is supposed to be don’t jive.

This is a one owner car. The pic below shows the “footprint” of where one could go perhaps. However, there is no pigtail or wires to utilize. I’m at a loss.

I’ll keep looking.
It’s weird that it don’t jump out to me like yours does… Mine has a distributor set up, if that matters

Stick your paws on the crank damper and feel toward the back for the reluctor wheel then go all the way around the reluctor wheel with your paws. You will eventually run into the crank sensor.

Boom! That’s the answer I needed to hear. Thank you, Sir! I knew I wasn’t that dumb 😜

I am moving on to test the throttle sensor next. I’m experiencing no starts to seldom starts and a rough idle.

Is it safe to say that this motor don’t have a Cam sensor as well? I bought both Along with the PCM.

TGIF 🍻
