Hogged out the exhaust ports to match the exhaust gaskets, removed those pesky smog pump bumps.

New cam, springs, retainers, locks, comp high energy rockers 1.6 ratio.

The blue and red is really putting “Super” in Supercoupe 😂

Figure I gained about 2hp lol

I've not looked into how well JB weld holds up to heat cycles, but wondered if a couple horsepower couldn't be found in filing those air holes?

Also, have to know of you plugged the ports in the back with shortened bolts like I did. It's been 21-22 years since l had a thermostat stick causing a blown head gasket. That led to a port/polish on my E7s.

I’m not crazy enough yet to test that JB weld theory lol.

I did plug the ports on the back of the heads though.

Possible solutions for the rubber that goes here? Looked into “T moulding” but can’t figure out what size

I looked and looked for the same piece and ended up gluing my original back on. Mine only had one small nick out that is tough to see. I did buy a "T" style that I split in half to tuck under my upper windshield trim. It's barely seen but fills the gap. What I used was actually half of the trim I bought as I cut it down the center.

Mine was completely destroyed , I’m going to have to figure something out.
