Most of these items can be shipped, but know that it will be at your expense so keep that in mind. I am in the Cincinnati OH area so Local pick up is better. You're in Cincinnati? I'm in Chillicothe. I come to the Cinci area every week for band practice so if Wile decides to not get that chip, let me know and I'll get it from ya. I can meet you somewhere down there on my practice night.

Ugh... no throttle body or IAC...

IACs you can still buy brand new (Motorcraft). Apparently 6-cylinder E-Series vans use the exact same; at least that's what's in my car now.

Throttle body, can't you just clean it? What's wrong with it?
I was watching this car show and the guy mentioned about throttle bodies and they can wear and not seat normal after 100's of thousands of miles. So I got to wondering if its possible that some of my issues are the throttle body and trying a used would either confirm or deny the theory. As for the IAC, they are not cheap by any means and I already bought a new from RockAuto that turned out to have issues. the one I have in there now is an OEM off same year / model / engine car, but it is not doing that great at low idle... I cannot find any vacuum leaks, so... throttle body, IAC? That's why. :P

PS: Actually, now that I think about it, the guy was referring to carburetor butterfly intakes. They can wear and show issues at idle cause they don't seat correctly anymore.

Because you were all waiting on the edges of your seats about my IAC issue... I put the POS RockAuto one back in and my idle is fine again. What this IAC does is go to 2500 high idle when cold and stays there for about 5-7 seconds before dropping to 1000, then 750 after another 3 seconds... not normal.

Anyway, ordering a new Motorcraft IAC.

Sorry, didn't mean to steal the thread....
