I got my windshield replaced last year, and in the summer, if i go 130 or 140 kmh, the windshield trim would catch wind and blow out, and i would put the piece back in, and it would blow out again not long later.
Today at 100 to 110 kmh in -5c, it blew out again, so I pulled it right off and put it in the trunk.
Is my upper windshield gap too large?
I see no other reason why it would just blow out, I think it should be installed with smaller upper gap to prevent this?
I am not a windshield guy though.
It was speedy glass.
And my girl got her 300 windshield replaced from same people, her upper trim blew out on the way to Edmonton.
Coincidence?
