SG92
Newbie

When I was a kid in the late mid 90's(maybe have been 6 lol) my dad bought a 92 Thunderbird that had the V8 and a sunroof. In hindsight it may have been Sport Coupe, but I was too young to pay attention to smaller details like that. Regardless ever since then I was obsessed with tha 89-93 body style Thunderbirds.
In the early 2010s his health went downhill and as much as it hurt us both we mutually agreed to sell(he made sure I was okay with it since he knew how much I wanted it) the car that was originally meant to become my inheritance to help with medical bills and final expenses.
Fast forward to October 2024 and I am looking to buy a car so on a whim I search a few car sales sites for a Thunderbird and I see a very nice condition green LX V6 Bird with just a broken radio volume knob, and broken door lock actuator and clip f $4900. Only one I was able to find, so I had to make it mine.
Now I am hoping to turn this car into a mostly faithful recreation of the car I never got to inherit, and am looking forward to all the knowledge people here have to share on things like 5.0 swap, what if any manual is relatively affordable and fits the car well among other things.
Also, I'll go ahead upload a few photos of the car.
