Ha! Yeah, you're definitely low, but this panel doesn't add any downward depth really. It sits no lower than that K-member structural piece. Well, other than the quarter inch or so of thickness of the panel itself.

Actually a pre-96 owner once bought one from me and said it fit, though I imagine it required some minor alterations (?). Let me see if I can figure out who that was...

Yes. It does fit the 94/5 bumper.

I do not know how well it exactly fully fits the 94/5 because I installed it at the same time with an AJE k member (zip ties were involved for the rear tabs ).

I imagine it would fit the earlier stock setup well.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit any 89-97 it mounts to the core support which the bumper cover mounts to, none of those holes changed in the entire production run. You might have to play with the rubber flappy air dam if you have a 89-95 to transfer it over but beyond that it’s universal
