Rests is the operative term here as they are not head restraints.
I added them more for visual appeal and passenger comfort, plus to tie the back in with the green/beige stitching theme of the front. I chose black leather for contrast and leather specifically because it stays cleaner with hair products.
Since there is no structural support, these are held in place with very tight bungee straps. The metal posts have been removed.
