My Driver's side rear window trim is damaged are there any replacements (looks like salvaging would destroy it too) or is RTV my only real option?

The skinny piece that starts at the trunk lid an goes to the B-pillar seam.

I have found and sold a few good sets. However, they're difficult to find with the rubber intact.

FYI, to remove the trim, there's one 9 mm nut to remove from the interior. It's under a small round cover on the interior C-pillar trim.

As long as the metal is intact, i.e., not bent out of shape, there may be a way to replace the rubber with some generic rubber seal (?).

Has anyone attempt to "repair" these pieces or have any thoughts?

I'm thinking masking tape to keep area clean and either RTV adhesive or an epoxy.

Trim paint works well after a light sand.

Well for me RTV did not work too long of cure time and tape will not stick to the plastic part of the trim.

A heat gun did wonders for straightening the curl and let me get it into shape to use CA glue to attach the plastic to the metal. Loctite 403. Will look to marine epoxy if/when the glue fails.
