Has anyone used a Sonic Cleaner to clean fuel injectors? And if so, is a small, inexpensive cleaner going to work as well as an expensive parts cleaner?

Looking on Amazon, I see a lot of cheaper ones, some middle of the spectrum cleaners and the absolute cadillac of cleaners that only a parts cleaner professional would use to make a profit.

Never mind, read some more articles and there is much more to cleaning an injector than chemicals and ultrasonic vibration. Though, it would not hurt to give it a try. Just wanted to know if the smaller ones are as "tough on grime" as the larger, professional sonic cleaners.

I would think so, its not so much the size of the unit as it is the quality and durability of the vibration unit. After all, 30Khz is 30Khz no matter the size of the water tank that the part is in. I am considering picking up a budget unit on amazon come the summer to aid in cleaning up parts cause they seem to work really well.

Thanks for the input Jae and let us know which sonic cleaner you end up with and if you like if for cleaning parts.
