All Time / Lifetime / Personal best times go in this thread.

This list is for those of you who haven't seen better times in years.

If you haven't set a new personal best in a while we'll put your time on this list.

*Everyone who races their car should be striving to improve upon or at least maintain a good track time with their cars.

The current times list will be maintained in THIS THREAD. If you've run your car recently please post your time to the linked thread. If you've run a new personal best please make that known and I'll also add the time here or update your existing time to the new best time.

I'm going to try to get everyone who's ever run their car and wants to be on the list into their time bracket.

In order to keep the list from becoming cluttered the following *exceptions apply:
  • If you sell the car your name is coming off the list
  • If your car has been wrecked and will never run again your name is coming off the list
*Exceptions subject to moderator determination and subject to change.

I'll break it down into time brackets so that there will be competition (and bragging rights) among each group.

Groups will be:
  • 9 and 10 second cars
  • 11 second cars
  • 12 second cars
  • 13 second cars
  • 14 second and above cars
These lists will always be for 1/4 mile times only. I'll post up an example format, and you can reply to this thread or PM me in that format and I'll copy and paste.

Must be a Ford MN12. Any power adder, any tire, any motor, don't care. There's really not many rules here, just a list to show the top, all-time fastest MN12's (you driving your car!). I don't need pics of time slips, Ill take what I'm told. If you see BS from someone, I'll already know it and it won't get on the list. One entry per car. You can comment and post in here also.

Here is the format: 11.062 @ 123.17 - 06/2012 - Blown38 - 95 T Bird SC AR

Start with your time to the third decimal place and MPH to the second decimal place followed by your user name, year of car, Type of car, Basic Engine info including size (3.8L or 4.6L) - 2 valve or 4 valve, power adder(s) and finally the month and year of your run.

I'll continue to update and tweak these lists as time permits and new times are posted.

So without further ado ...
THE ALL TIME FASTEST MN12's in the country

Congratulations to 1MTNCAT! Who recently improved his best time from 11.750 @ 113.72 on 05/2012 to 11.630 @ 117.92 MPH on 6/8 of this year.

I recently discovered his post over at TSTSNBN. I let him know we're over here now.

You've got a respectable place on the list, ron!

Is he still doing ok? I haven't heard from him in years. I bought a bunch of stuff from him over the years. I guess you have too. :)

Yeah, Rob's doing Ok. I've got an appointment to see him set for 6/24 to put the OD Pulley back on my car. I haven't talked to him in a while. Looking forward to catching up with him.

Tell him I said hi! He sold me a partial harness, that I have use pins and pieces off of for ... damn, 20 years. That's mind blowing. I bought it to add the knock sensors for the dohc engine. My lonnie tune includes them, lol. Won't get installed, lol.

Ron,

That information needs updated. 4.6L
4V Naturally Aspirated, E85. 3560# with driver.

Looks like Matt fixed it for you. Congratulations. You're now faster than the Racecougar.

Thanks Ron. But I haven't seen the update. That's initial tune and track outing so more to come!

But are you faster than kdanner? :)
I don't know. Tell us? Last I heard many years ago Danner was running a Mustang. And he knows how to run soooo......

Mason Dixon Dragway yesterday afternoon T & T 1MTNCAT ran a new Naturally Aspirated best of 11.583 @ 117.65 MPH after running several mid-low 11.6s. Still tuning.

4.6L 4V, NA.

NO POWER ADDER OR NITROUS!

Took the 1MTNCAT to the track yesterday evening for a couple TNT hits. The cat ran consistant 11.5s with slowest pass of 11.58 @ 117.84 mph right off the trailer.

It set a new best by the end of the day of 11.508 @ 118.33 mph. Built 4.6L Naturally Aspirated at MIR Raceway 10/11/24

Last tnt of the season 11/16/24 at yet another track Cecil County MD. Having issues with the factory trac loc, which needs repaired, hurt 60 fts but the 1MTNCAT still ran an 11.5 with a new Mph of 119.14 in cooler air inspite of the traction issue. Some minor things to address over the winter but all in all an excellent year. We'll see what next year brings.

At some point will put some spray to it next season!

-all the ARP hardware a guy can throw at it to hold it together.
-Aeromotive e5.0 in-tank pump
-cgfabrications forward facing headers, t4 flange
-vsracing 78/75 journal bearing with a 1.25ar.
-Holley Dominator

Very Impressive work! I like the way you cut the front cross member to move the radiator forward to make more room while using the radiator itself as a support bracket. Which radiator is that, that you're using? We had Fluidyne build us some custom radiators a few years ago. I think there were 6 of us that bought them.

I've had my eye on that revised AJE k-member too. Have they got it dialed in now? Last I heard there were some alignment issues with the previous build.

Delete the AC compressor, AC Condenser and all other non-essential components! Battery in the trunk? I've been thinking about moving mine back there.

That's a Griffin radiator.

I don't have many street miles on the aje yet. Maybe around 50 ish. So far it seems fine. Mine, at least, didn't have any issues. Other than moving the motor up maybe 1/2". No driveability issues with it. But I tend to stick to smooth roads. The real test will be the next drag and drive event. See how it holds up to that.

Yep, ac and condenser are gone. Heater core is still in the car but I bypassed it. Went from the head straight back to the pump. Power steering is still up there just relocated the reservoir.

Battery is in the right rear of the car with a merit. Minor attempt to counter balance my big butt.

It’s working, I’m not making any promises but I’m cooking up some plans 🤔

That Turbo setup is insane! Very cool!
Get it done man. One thing I've gotten the most out of doing raceweek with it is, "you just don't see them that clean, let alone, that fast" that's not word for word but pretty close to what 1320 has said about it on a couple different occasions. They also get my car and Binks's car confused which is flattering for me lol.
