Top Times - The All Time Best List

Rocky Mountain Race Weekend completed. Drove the car from home (Garden City, Ks) to Pueblo, Co. Completed the event routes including some pretty intense climbs in the mountains, gorgeous views, driving across the Royal Gorge Bridge West of Cañona city, Co, 3 days of racing and drove her home. Approximately 7-800 miles.

New PB in the car but didn't get my single digit. Missed it by 🤏 that much! Never the lest 10.02 at 135 is the new best for this little 2V powered Bird. Ran a handful of 12.00 passes, a few 11.00 passes and 6 10 second passes.

Awesome! Congratulations! Could you provide a quick summary of what you've done to the car? Engine, power adder, fuel (Premium or E85), anything else you want to share, etc.

You've built a B/A 2V!
Thanks!

Thank you! Nothing has changed set up wise from my last post other than the turbo. I originally had a 78/75 journal bearing Gen 2 VSracing turbo with a 1.25ar. We were struggling to get the car to build what we were commanding for boost on the brake. We added an MMR quick spool which cut down spool time to half what it was. Updated the turbo to a78/75 ball bearing gen 3 from vsracing with a .96ar and the motor likes that ALOT more.

Motor is still a built 2V with with MHS heads and cams, Th400 and running on E85 full time. Aeromotive fuel system and holley Dominator running the show.

Although expensive to build and lacking on power compared other platforms, alot of racers i have run into have alot of respect for the fact that I stayed true to the 4.6 2V platform. The car gets alot of love mainly cause it's something different from the norm. That being said... although most don't know me by name, I've become that guy with the black tbird. Go out there and do it guys!
