History:
I have been on the Birdcats and TCCoA forums since 1996 when I got my first Tbird. I went through all the phases - the RichardM tube, ram air, lowered, J-mod with Winston, JL braces, InfoCenter (still NIB) and even had a BigScott PI engine swap. Eventually sold that Tbird and picked up John Marton's unfinished project (Cam94).
I finished that car (with Jim O'Neil long block, TFHS trans, non-PI heads, PnP, with an extrude honed port matched, SVO intake, Moates QH and binary editor tuned) for my son to drive in high school. A few years after he graduated, I had to put her in storage in my parent's garage. Had a transfer back to Atlanta, and that house had a narrow alpine driveway and no place for a 3rd car/hotrod. She's been in storage since 2017. Hasn't been started since 2021. Sadness.
What's New?
Now that we've moved to Alabama, I've been able to build a 40x30 shop in the back of our 3-acre lot. Just yesterday, I changed the oil filter, pumped up the tires, and got a new battery. She fired up with just a touch of the key, and I got her 5 miles to the shop! So good to drive her again.
What's next?
I still have a day job and too many house projects - but here's my latest thinking:

I still have a day job and too many house projects - but here's my latest thinking:
- All fluid change
- check brakes
- Inspect suspension - upper control arms look rotted. Worried about strut rod bushings.
- Had a trans clunk at hard shifts near tailshaft - hoping it's ujoints. I think I changed the tune to have the TC lock up too much....bit worried I might have hurt trans.
- See if there is AC anymore. I am tempted to buy guages and learn about servicing this. In the deep South - I'd like world class AC.
- Swap 24 lb injectors back to 19lb. Not sure why I stuck with 24's all those years ago, but every now and then used to have a hot start issue. I think 19's may help. Need to source some though.
- I never liked the 3500 TC that was in there. Would like to go back to stock. Not sure I'm ready to go that deep unless I damaged the trans above.
- I've got a NIB InfoCenter and full set of never installed JL braces.
- Needs a big engine bay cleanup....value covers and alt surfaces show oxidation, etc, etc.
