WTB 4.6 2V SVO Intake, SVO Supercharger, Bullitt, etc...

What is the benefit of the dual throttle body? I'm thinking in terms of surface area that two smaller circles do not have the surface area of one larger one, unless the radius is similar is it throttle response?

For these hood clearance, the twin 57mm throttle body is a good inch shorter than the single 65-70mm throttle bodies. And the runners on the lower intake are about as much taller. Utilizing this throttle body was a way to compact the unit for hood clearance on SN95 Mustangs

That makes sense, also doing a super simple calculation tells me that you actually gain total throttle body area, so you will still see the same benefits of a larger throttle body while keeping it compact, brilliant

I found a post somewhere on a mustang forum, a rep from trickflow was saying that the dual throttle body version wasn’t much better over the single throttle body trickflow model. Very small difference, it ultimately came down to choice and preference. I do like the dual throttle body tho it looks doperrrrrrrr

And in fact when Trick Flow first came out with that manifold it only came in the normal single blade style, as the runners are lower profile than the Bullitt (due to the alternator relocation allowing the space). Throttle body upgrades have always been pretty dubious on NA modulars IMO

I'm sure the Trick Flow is a nice piece. I do not care for the backwards mounted alternator (yeah I know, big deal). Most of the TF manifolds I see are the Track Heat version. The Street Heat seems to be harder to find.

Agreed. I know it’s vain but I care how my engine looks and I hate that look! AED superchargers did that too but at least the intercooler hoses somewhat hide it!
