Will a condesor from a 90 SC fit a 96lx 4.6?

It might be too small; does the sticker under the hood say r-12? Refrigerants changed about 94, and 134 is less efficient, so condenser may be bigger. I'd check partnumbers to be sure.

R12 condensors are tube and fin style .. R134 uses a stacked plate and fin design.

The R134 system runs at higher pressures; and requires more cooling to condense. If you are using an early condensor with R134, it will lose its efficiency.

Gotcha I appreciate it.. Need a condesor for my 97 (converted to 96 style condenser a few years ago) and I already had a 90 condenser from an SC... Wishful thinking
