Neither is a TURBO Coupe 😆
Dang, caught again with my lack of Thunderbird knowledge. I hate when that happens.

The tradeoffs are worth it for the low mile car IF the price isn’t stupid. Rubber is a lot cheaper to replace than what it costs for a paintjob and rust repair, or restoration of a roached interior with damn near impossible to find parts.
I'll drink to that....

Rubber is a lot cheaper than children, as well. Ask me how I know...

Oh different rubber, whoops 😆

Anyone near Wisconsin?

Looks fairly clean
I love that green interior, appears to be mint!

The passenger shock tower is strange looking; it have a quick-sand and a spray bomb or am I being overly cautious?

It’s going to be a rot box
If you click the trail of links in the upper left corner, select Thunderturd, you will see a list of others around the country that may not have come from a damp climit that promots rust.

This is the stuff I've been using. I picked it up on a whim while on vacation years ago.

I was told many years ago to use Murphys oil soap to clean leather. I’ve done that allot on my boots, but I’m out of conditioner so I’m going to give that a try.

I saw that before and really really hoped it was a bizarre dream.
I used to use FakeBook until I got a message that my account was hacked. I bailed ASAP, whether it was true or not.

I can't believe the price of leather products anymore. I bought a good conditioner a while back for $7 and not it's $14? WTF could cause the price to go that high except pure greed.

I bought some Neatsfoot Oil and thought I would give that a try.

Input costs increasing, labor costs increasing, transportation costs increasing, and of course, Supply & Demand. Oh, and in recent weeks, tariffs!

How long ago did you buy for $7?

I believe just before covid. And the price I last saw was end of last year. I hate to look and see what it costs now. :P

So you bought it for $7 right before they basically doubled the money supply, but you think the logical conclusion is the price must have doubled because a corporation suddenly discovered greed, and not because there are now twice as many dollars chasing the same goods?

No, my point is there is no reason to double the price and keep it there after the crisis has subsided. That is greed. "If they will pay for it, keep it there until we can't sell, then bring it down to get it off the shelf". Do corporations take the extra money they get from raising prices and put it back into the company, or for God's sake, pay the workers more? No. It goes to the stock holders. Do you recall when the California avacado crisis hit, and avacado's were priced more than double? Did the price come down once the market was saturated with avacados? No. How about the current egg prices becauswe of a virus... will they come down when the visus is under control and quanity has returned to normal? No.

Eggs have actually gone down by about a dollar here since the real frenzy a few weeks ago. We’ve also seen Gas prices fluctuate quite a bit, it’s been between $3-$3.50 here and of course I’d prefer it go back to the $2.xx a gallon it’s still way cheaper than a few summers ago where it hit $5.xx for fucking mid grade!

I agree with your sentiment that greed has a leverage on supply but if people just stop buying eggs as much out of frustration the suppliers end up having to adjust to move them and the price does come down.

Tl;dr is the price probably won’t go back to where they were pre-crisis but they definitely won’t remain where they are currently.
