Engine bay wire tuck question

Has anyone routed their driver side engine bay wiring harness through the fender? I was thinking of doing so but mot sure how I would go about passing the wires through as I would need to drill a hole big enough in the body the size of the bulkhead connector.

If I were to drill that hole would it remain structurally safe? As it is a pretty big hole.

That would be a bad spot to do it, there’s a lot of interlaping steel and reenforcement there, it’s actually a place they rust as well. If you were to cut metal to run the harness through the sheetmetal apron is the safe spot, just find an area where it has space between it and the plastic liner

Fox body is great for wire tucking, nice to see other people wanting to do it as well.

I haven't done it on a MN12, but I have on a number of other vehicles. If you de-pin and re-pin the connector, you can significantly reduce the size of the hole needed.
