Foxbody Mustangs used the same clips, you can get aftermarket replacements from LMR, American Muscle etc.
Love the paint, wish I could afford to do mine.

Out of the box thought, cut hole in the hood but use a Corvette L88 scoop to cover the raised air cleaner lid, mad max style



Fun fact, in between Mad Max and The Road Warrior the black interceptor was briefly made road legal to be sold, losing the blower and zoomies, using the same L88 scoop as the yellow one to cover the hole.

That looks perfect, might just run a low profile filter until I put the forced induction on it and then figure out hood clearance afterwards lol

The height is the problem, still hugs right onto hood when it’s closed. But it closes so it’ll have to suffice for now.

Get one of these. It allows you to move the air filter forward away from the cowl, and should help with your fitment issues.
