I took the XR7 back to Dobbs for the 3rd time to get the alignment fixed (after replacing the bad rear upper control arm bushings).

I expected a fight, but all four wheels are in spec and they didn't charge me for another alignment after replacing parts.

Good news: I got lucky with the positioning of the rear upper control arm bushings during installation.

Bad news: I still think the service manager and alignment tech don't believe rear camber adjustment is possible in these cars.

I need to dig out the bad one I have, and my calibrated spacer, and bet some pix on replacing the bushing properly.

It is such a strange phenomenon that no matter where you go, it always seems impossible to find someone capable of doing something as simple as a wheel alignment.
Yeah, everyone assumes that the car is RWD and can't be adjusted. I had to get under my sons car with the alignment tech once and show him the adjustment points. He was surprised. And funny enough that his alignment machine told him the car was adjustable and highlighted the adjustment points. But he didn't believe the machine. Until I showed him.
