I mean all the old smileys are the best! Much more fun then the new stuff. The graphics got better and the imagination got worse.
 
Finally a fail at the box office for a superhero movie this week; I'm so tired of Marvel and the like. How many people are going to play batman, before they let that go, lol. Adam west was batman; christopher reeves was superman. let it go...

Modern video games and gameplay peaked with Crysis wars, in the 00's. The later games emulated a lot of it, but it was a huge improvement over Far Cry,Unreal Tournament, and Quake 3.
The best AI was in FEAR, which was a wicked game to play late at night, lol. How they made a little girl in a red dress that scary has to be experienced to be believed, lol. The best new game I've played is Sigil, an update for doom. :D

This was explained in The Flash .. they all exist in the multiverse, including the Nick Cage Superman. It's just a cape and outfit anyways, nobody really gives a shit about his Bruce Wayne alter ego.

The ending of FEAR 2 took that to a whole other level ..

That was a trippy series, lol. I liked in one version there was the walker armored carrier from hell. I need to replay those. all the servers are dead, but you can still play locally on a lan; I need to look, someone may have made a workaround. You can play Battlefield 2042 now due to dedicated users.
 
I've never watched one single Marvel movie. Last Batman I saw in a theatre was the shitty Batman and Robin with Ahnold :popcorn:
 
I had my fill when they concluded the main arc back in 2019. After Stan died so too did the remaining screen adaptations, IMO, and I've no interest in the excess.

It seems they're dragging the franchise out like James Bond with a new person playing the characters for every generation.

Having said that and moving on to another series, I have to say, IMHO, Daniel Craig was the best Bond followed closely by Sean Connery then a distant third, Roger Moore.
 
If Connery was in On her majesty’s secret service it would have been the perfect ending for the whole James Bond franchise… 55 years ago. Every movie and actor playing the role since just seems like an attempt at reinventing something that was fine to begin with; Moore era went more comedic, Dalton era went more gritty action, Brosnan era went kind of in between those and Craig era just was “Borne, Jason Borne”.

I enjoyed Casino Royal as a change of pace but it’s really the only Craig Bond movie that I think is memorable, and they went from the theme of Bond being this new scrappy agent to being an aging dinosaur in a matter of one movie. Give me Roger Moore dressed as a clown doing wheelies in a TukTuk any day as far as rewatchability over the dark brooding seriousness of the current era.
