- Drive the mountains of NC - The Tail of the Dragon is in NC but there are plenty of other roads in the mountains that are amazing drives!
- Hit up a Drag strip; there are like half a dozen scattered across the state.
- Visit the NC AutoRacing Hall of fame in Mooresville, NC - AKA Race City USA.
- Visit the NASCAR Hall of fame in downtown Charlotte and drive in the race simulators they have there.
- Attend Cars & Coffee at the Charlotte Motor Speedway (Actually locate in Concord, NC)
- Attend a Race School or Race Experience event at Charlotte Motor Speedway
- Attend a NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway or an NHRA event at Zmax Dragway
- Get your car modified by the Carolina Crew Chief RobertP in Carthage, NC. He's just south of you.
- Meet the Trunk Monkey in Charlotte, NC. I'll be on the road for work for the next few weeks but it would be great to get together at some point.
- Attend a Car Show: There are hundreds held across the state throughout the year.
- There's other stuff to do but I'm not familiar with what's happening up in the Raleigh area.
