Splash guards FS

They have been tested on a 94 and a 97 and they fit neither. I believe they would fit 89-93, but that's an assumption (i.e. what's left?). The instruction sheet that comes with it specifies "89-90 T-Bird but not including SuperCoupe", so unless Ford got their own documentation wrong it should be good there. I am assuming they didn't include 92 and 93 on the paper because the sheet itself was produced in 89 and they were being naturally cautious about what the future would hold.

I feel bad because I bought them for myself, found they didn't fit, sold them to Eric, and he found the hard way that they don't work on his car either. Which is too bad because they're in beautiful shape.

16A550 = mudflaps

D=version

The year of manufacture isn’t of much value the part number tells all you need, albiet without knowing *which* version. But those undoubtedly are made for standard LX rear bumper covers.

If I had to hazard a guess it would be FOSZ 16A550-A is SC front, FOSZ 16A550- B is LX front, FOSZ 16A550- C is SC rear and FOSZ 16A550-D is LX rear.

The rear bumper profile changed in 1994 on both SC and LX to be more bulged out and again in 96 between the cladding and lower rear bumper cover.

A is traditional (thin/flap) front, B is traditional (thin/flap) rear (double-notched). Should fit any year, including 9th-gen Birds.
C is molded front, D is molded rear. 89-(presumably) 93 non-SC only.

Like I said those were my guesses, BUT I strongly suspect “traditional” are meant for the SC with their deeper side skirts/bumper where molded were for the LX. I’ve never ever seen a SC with molded mudflaps, always flat

No worries. I've been collecting photos from auctions and whatnot that have the part codes on them, so I was able to double-check.
