SVO blower HELP!

Maybe a stupid question, but how is the power? Does it feel like it is making more? Have you verified the boost reading with another gauge?
I tested the gauge with a bicycle pump, and it’s working. I also swapped in the T45 at the same time, so it does seem quicker. I can’t tell which made it faster. 😅

I doubt it could be this simple but where on the manifold the boost gauge’s source?

Couple of threads on M90s. Might be worth checking out. Sounds like similar failure modes for both. Maybe they screwed something up when they swapped the snout to the proper orientation? Neibert has some good input in the first thread.

I think that’s the problem, EGR is upstream of the rotors, for the gauge to see boost it should be downstream. Try plugging the gauge into the port you’ve got the the actuator/FPR plumbed to.
Nice catch. I didn't realize the EGR was before the blower. On a Mustang forum a guy had a similar issue. One of the responders said they connected to this red circled port below for a proper reading.

I wonder, would adding an intercooler to the intake ( filter- intercooler- throttle body) have any effect on the IAT?? I know turbos and Centris blow through it but would sucking through one cool down the air?? Random thought.

Also, is the blower rebuilt?? Maybe it’s just old and not sealing correctly??

No. So long as the intake isn’t picking up hot engine compartment air an intercooler in the low pressure intake tract will not further cool the air. Intercoolers a use ambient air spread across a large surface area to relatively cool pressurized(heated) air from the SC or Turbo, they’re not magic devices whose very presence just makes them cool the air, for them to work the way you’re positing they’d essentially need to be combined with an AC evaporator that actually reduces temperature from ambient

Methanol injection is your cooling friend.
