I'm about to head out to look at these two cars. They came to the yard on the same day, which makes me think they came from a single owner, potentially one being the parts car for the other.

Please send me a private message if you want anything.

Please post suggestions here on what I should pick up, but keep in mind I have limited room to store items.

The 91 looks like it has bilsteins on the rear, so I would check the front shocks to see if they are something good. Also I know rear brake calipers are no longer available for the 89-92 cars, so those might be worth grabbing if they look to be in good shape. Both clutch pedals would sell, but you have to partially pull the dashboard to get them out, so that’s your call.

The problem with seats is shipping and storing them. In my experience, everyone wants SC seats but nobody wants to drive to pick them up and shipping them is difficult and prohibitively expensive. If you have a buyer already lined up, then it can be worth pulling the seats, but every time I have sold SC seats, I wind up sitting on them for months or years before they sell.

If you haven't yet, pull the brake pedals with the clutch pedals to sell as a pair. It's an easy $250-400 sell.

Yes, pull the console top, but just important pull the rubber isolator below.

I was incorrect. They'd be 89-91. Those are 92 and up. They're notoriously difficult to find unbroken. I don't personally need them. You could probably sell that set, but in my experience those are easier to come by.

This is the set I sold years ago. Notice the wiper arms are both in one panel, and the 'step' on the windshield side.

The dead pedal is factory with the hand brake. It does swap to all years. *edit: if you delete the foot e-brake

Those cars will also have the L braces behind the rear seats. They are a fairly easy grab and may (or may not?) add a bit of rigidity to your car.

It's not as bad as you think. Certainly worth the work with the price the parts sell for. The dash just needs to pull back some, not completely out of the car.

How are those black seats? What do the shift knobs look like?

Nice. What a treasure trove of parts.

You would think...

But I ended up leaving with just one thing: a NOS keypad still in the box, which I found in the trunk.

Nothing there for me personally, and without a buyer lined up, the good pieces are too time consuming to remove.

Still fun at the junkyard as always.

The hardest part about pulling the dash is not damaging anything I care about when I pull it. Doing it at a junkyard, who cares if you forgot one bolt or unplug an electrical connector, just pull harder 😆

The pedals are far and away the most valuable items on those cars, nobody wants shock actuators for shocks that aren’t even made anymore

I just realized I can't go back tomorrow. Maybe Sunday. Though it may be too late then.

If anyone on here is going, please let me know so I don't make the trip for nothing.
