Air Jack

Anyone have this type of air jack and is it worth it?



I was curious if these are easier to use than a floor jack. I noticed it only goes up to just over 17" (for this model).

odds of massive sudden failure is higher with these type. Brake parts cleaner does a number on them.

We used those to move big machines and robot tables around. I'd use them to move a car, but no way I'm getting under it.

HA! But its lift height is 8 1/2".... I don't know if that would get me under the MN12.

I wish my current jacks went higher then 18".

Well, in conclusion, it would seem most think these jacks are dangerous and may work for some applications, but you better have jack stands under whatever you are lifting and a quick arm if the bag pops while putting the stands under the car.

My experience with a hydraulic jack is it won't lift if it has a broken a seal and if it breaks a seal under load, it will either not jack past a certain weight or just start leaking, slowly....
