Chatbox Thread

I’m really surprised you had the run you did, the supply here dried up several years ago. Two of my closest go-to yards since closed down to boot.
For the first time eer in Vegas there are only 2 MN12's in the yard. I have a date to grab a steering shaft for some dude on a forum ;)

I'm tempted myself. In spite of major polishing efforts, the old ones look miserable. Did you purchase from Rockauto?
Same here with the originals. I have wet sanded and polished them a few times, they are just shot. No matter what I try they are still yellowed, have micro cracks, and the plastic chrome is starting to flake off.

I bought this set on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/351591859793 . Hopefully they are decent quality. Worst case I can return them for free. I looked at Rockauto but their only option was "various manufacture" which could have resulted with two different brands that aren't exactly the same.
Dorman makes the OEM style corner lights which is a brand I would trust. But they only have the Right side available now which I assume is because they are discontinuing them.

tomato juice and dawn; I had a buddy who thought it would be funny to sit on a skunk city, and rev his dirt bike. I watched from 50+ feet away, lol. My Mom asked me if I was covered too, before she told me what to do. I called from his house,I'm not stupid. Lemon juice, vinegar, tomato juice; something mildly acidic.
Wear a real respirator, with organic cartridges, If you get that smell in your head, other people will complain about you for weeks.

Finally had a dog catch a skunk. I knew it would be bad but holy hell was I not ready

This morning mine rolled in what I can only imagine is animal shit. Didn't notice she stinks until just recently. Why?

20oz bottle

1/3 bottle of hydrogen peroxide
1/2 bottle of water
Remainder of bottle, Dawn (has to be Dawn) dish soap.

Wash and get solution to lather / foam before rinsing away

That shit works. Found out when both my dogs got skunked last (?) year.

This is what we did. Helped a bit but didn't get everything. She had a medicated bath today and is getting another one tomorrow.

I have it stuck to my hands. That and allergies had been a great mix. The guys at work noticed it but they said it didn't bother them. Idk how, it's been making me sick.

Maybe you're just super sensitive to it? Or maybe, because it's super fresh, really sticking to you.

@Green T hows the storm goin? Gonna put some blankets and floor mats on on the bird windows, best I can do for now

Its sunny right now, but they predict the storm will roll though in a few hours. Hail predicted here too. I had recently seen videos of people using comforters to cover the whole car and that seemed like a good idea too.

It works, I learned that trick in Denver where they can get crazy hail storms. I throw one in the trunk every time I drive there.

Charlie's in Dayton tn is showing a few tbirds; as soon as the red cougar drives, I'll be checking out what they have. There are some marks too.

I'm planning to make a $10,000 donation to the Birdcats group to help with costs.
