So how long before E-bikes end up requiring registration and a motorcycle license to operate? It’s kinda gotten wild this year seeing packs of 10 year olds going 20-30mph in traffic. (Great parenting! 🙄)

As for the Mustang and Bronco, my old cheapo mountain bike I’ve had for 20 years is an AMX. Way cooler 😆

Yup, sharing the road with silent motors, next to null visual cues, and no license is insane.

I remember a chick in portland was riding her ordinary bicycle down the lightrail lane, and she ate pavement because her wheel went into the groove of the tracks. It doesn't take much for a rider to fall over spontaneously

The scooters are way faster than the bikes we were allowed to ride at 14; 5 brake hp, daylight only. We didn't get to ride real bikes until 16. I got my 35hp IT200 when I was 15.
Railroad tracks, rain grooves, steel road surfaces; those all require special care.

I understand they let mountain bikes in the GSMNP now.

Sidelined with a stomach bug all last week. Zofran and the porcelain was my best friend all weekend. Woof.

Now that I have my Gold Bird, I am seeing a lot more gold colored cars out on the road now.

What does it mean when your dog sounds like a hella big cammed out car?

My oldest dog keeps coughing and sounds like a cammed car.

I read your description to my wife (she's a veterinarian) and her immediate response was for you to watch some videos of/read up on laryngeal paralysis, aka roaring disease, or tracheal collapse. She also suggested you take a video and send it to your vet, who will probably want to take x-rays.

I'll take a video next time he does it and post a video.

My wife says it's more like kennel cough.

Watching a few videos on roaring disease, it's not quite like that. I also want to add that at the end of his coughing episodes, he goes like he's coughed up a loogie, which does sound like kennel cough after watching some of those videos.

The flip side to this is how we grew up.

"Do you know where your kids are at?"

😂
30 years ago, there were fewer kids in America.

I would argue that given our falling birth rate (most likely due to rising costs) and our hostility towards immigration, we can't afford to lose as many children to "stupid preventable shit" compared to even 30 years ago when we were kids.

After I got a bicycle, I was out the door at ~ 9am, and get home at dark. :)
The lake was 5.8 mi across town, and that was part of the loop. Hit grove center talk to the shopkeepers I knew, Then the library, usually return two, get two. Then either hit downtown, or go see my dad at the police station, and bs with the cops I knew.
The Laughing monkey was a hobby store, that also sold chemicals for chemistry sets. I rode the mile+ home from there with 5 liters of nitric acid once on my bike, lol.

Alright boys, I gotta question and I will need this somewhat quick.

I obviously don't wanna chop the hell out of the dash in the red car. It's not staying here forever.

That goes for the wiring too.

Please, can some one put in the wiring diagram and connector pin outs for the cluster, and where the dash receives input from the EEC for the cluster? Edit: for a 1990 Tbird LX digital dash. I want to plug into it like normal, not splice in wires randomly just so that shit works.

Please and thank you all

Thank you. I downloaded the files. Ill see what I can identify. The good news is I have the entire dash and wiring, so no issues there. it'll all plug in fine. But, I want to find the plugs and pin outs that the original EEC harness would plug into the dash to send info to the cluster.

I'm really hoping the digital ones don't have an issue communicating with the V8s like the early analogs did.

The only wire *from* the PCM that goes to the cluster is the check engine light, overdrive light, tach feed and in the case of digital clusters the DOL. Coolant, oil, volts and speedometer are all separate circuits directly from their senders(or battery for volts), the VSS gets split through the secondary junction box which goes to the speedometer, cruise, PCM and EVO/ARC but its not fed from the PCM itself

Ok. So what plugs or diagrams should I be looking for? Obviously I need RPMs, Id like speed, and volts. Oil pressure and coolant temp is not necessary since I have aftermarket gauges for those. I don't wanna hack up this harness/dash like I did the last one, so I'd like to just plug them into where ever they usually are plugged into.

Volts can be taken off any ignition wire feed, speed is the dark green/white wire, and tach should be a tan/yellow wire. Are you stll running an Explorer EEC? if it's OBD 2 it *might* have the fuel flow rate active off of pin 43 to make the DTE/average MPG etc side of the cluster functional, itswire would be light blue/pink if its still there

When I made the engine harness I woulda deleted something like that.

I cant find the RPM tan/yellow wire anywhere. Does it T off from somewhere else?

Found it. Tach is DG/Y according to the Electronic Cluster diagram.

Edit: TF does this mean

The signal changes wire color at connector 120, from dark green with a yellow tracer to red with light blue tracer.
To go a little further. it's the male pin side of the connector
