Today is a total waste of time at work as we're in an all day training for "Emotional Intelligence". Fuck this shit.

The only two things I'm looking forward to are lunch because this location is literally next door to one of my favorite go-kart tracks and going home.

Wondering how accurate the Tesla charge stats are :unsure:

So far I only charge at home at 14 cents a KWh and done 1500 miles.
I've been fearing the electric bill coming in after switching the daily driver to an EV. According to the app it has only used 446kWh to charge since we got it. If that is actully the case it's a suprising savings in gas money, especially since it replaced my Navigator that was averaging 13mpg.

I didn't notice a change on the last electric bill, but we only had it a few weeks then. Interested to see what next month looks like.

I almost wanted to call off today. I should have, but then I wouldn't have been able to go go-kart racing. I got 22.895 as my PB this time. My overall PB is 22.387 on this track. There were two other people (newbies) with me this time and they both ruined what I felt were great laps up until I ran into them.
 
Ours provide discounts when you use power away from peak demand, which after year after year of hikes, is probably just a roundabout way of the same thing

At least they are being honest about raising the rate. They could have just pitched it as getting a lower rate at certain hours.

Some areas have actual major discounts or even free use in the very early morning. Scheduling an EV to charge at those times of the day can be like getting a low cost or even a free charge.

The power company here charges 10¢ for the first 1000 kWh, and it goes up to 13.5¢ for all usage after. Would be nice to have the prices from several years ago, I think it was around 8¢ or so. Like gas prices I doubt thats coming back

It also looks more like a grader, not a snow plow.
I have seen more than that pushed into my driveway. But I also lived in central NY where it wasn't uncommon to have 2+ feet of lakesnow come down every day for several days in a row.
 
Yeah, fuck this shit. Sure, it's an accident that happened. But freezing temps make that shit stick until it melts. Here, I'd have a car that just got wet overnight and it'd be an, "I'll wash the car on the weekend" sort of thing.

I see he's one of those people that lifts their wipers off their windshield when they park. :BMW: This is a pretty common occurrence and happens about 4-5 times to everyone up here every winter. We also randomly get 5-10 feet of snow plowed into the ends of our driveways by road graders and all of the pipes in our house freeze and explode.

Haven't posted in a while but I was in the Austin airport today and a guy with a tacticool molle backpack had a patch on it that says "I'm fast as fuck boi".

So, I guess he's as speedy as a fuckboi. I'm actually not sure whether this means he's fast or slow. Do you want your fuckbois to be gone in 60sec or 60min?
