My clock has been misbehaving. It seems to reset to 12:00 every time I shut off the car. Do our clocks have backup batteries in them? I was thinking it would be redundant and cost more, but I have no other idea why it would behave as such...

Your thoughts?

Following since the clock in my 95 XR7 intermittently resets when I turn the car off. Also, the voltmeter rarely works. I assume wiring issues are the problem for both.

Any other issues? The clock uses key off power for memory while the volts gauge uses hot in run power (which the clock does too for powering the display, but not for memory). The only common denominator between the two would be the ground, but that has a whole bunch of stuff in the dash tied to it as well

No other known issues

Interesting. My voltmeter works...kinda but its flaky, sometimes reading discharge when it is charging...
