No mistakes, just happy accidents

So to be honest boys I'm getting trying to fix the red car to head back out on track. So I'm changing gears. If I keep the red car, it'll get turned into the pro car since it needs a decent amount of work anyway.

Which brings me to this hunk of shit. It's a 94 auto that has been sitting since around 09. Tried to get it Sunday but the owner of the shop was out. Was told "he'll never sell it" like I've heard dozens of times already.
Gonna meet with him on Sunday. And I'm bringing my gold car in an effort to convince him it'll be going to a good home.

Good home? Lol... Are you also promising to not turn it into a race car, 😆

Anything is better than literally watching it decay and sink into the earth.
From what I have checked out so far, it's solid. Rockers are ok behind the skirts (from what I can tell) and the floors seem ok. Didnt pop the hood or trunk out of respect for the guy not being there.

I missed that part. What do you think he would say if you brought the red car ? 🤣
Knowing the old heads around here? Probably say something about how I don't appreciate the classics and then call me some sort of slur.

If you do get it, paint it red in homage to the red car.

How much of your stuff are you taking with? How long is the move going to take?

Truck, trailer, and Honda are getting sold. Cleaning up, selling, or scrapping some of the spare engines and transmissions. The birds will be left at my mom's until I have the time and equipment to move them. Looking at suburban 2500s and two car trailers down there rn.

Update on my move:

Honda has been sold. Went to a family member of a friend who knew of it's maintenance history and known issues, and known potential transmission issues.

Trailer and truck still of sale. Lots of tire kickers.

If anyone is in or near the jersey area, I have my engines up for sale as well. Let me know if y'all want a legit For Sale thread. A rebuilt 3.8, a core 4.2, 3 M5R2 transmissions, and an LT1 T56.

A legit for sale thread might help move your inventory along.

Also post on the FB marketplace page for additional views.

Which part of Fla? What will you be doing? Weren't you working with birds?

I have admittedly not done much manual swap research as I don’t have the time to pursue it, but want to. The T56 is a 6 speed correct? Would it bolt to the 4.6? If so, I might be interested. Would you be willing to meet in NC on your way to FL?

From my understanding it won't. This being the early, Borge Warner LT1 variant, everything I find says the input shaft bearing plate has to be replaced with a later variant for other bell housings to work.

Also I won't be driving down. Ill be flying, and not bringing anything with me. The cars will come down in a few months. Which if I have the trans still by then, I'll just keep it.

You can put a GM T56 into one of our cars, but it doesn't seem like it is worth the hassle anymore. Lakewood does make a cast aluminum bellhousing to attach the T56 to the 4.6 so at least you don't have to pony up the $1k for the Quick Time unit. The Magnum XL would be about as close to a drop in replacement for our cars. The only downside to that transmission is you have to figure out the speedometer connection.

In an effort to move things along quickly, so the car can either be thrashed one last time or at least able to be moved in my absence, the front half of the cage has been removed and everything related to it shelved.

Digital Dash is being made ready for install.

Moving my electrical questions here. Was posting in chat box because I figured it'd get more movement there.

So reading all of this, it makes sense what I have to do. Unfortunately I don't have the mating connections so I'll have to do some sketchy pinning, but it should work.

But then I see this little thing where everything kicks off too. Secondary junction box, that's fine. Screenshot_20250810-113101.png

But then it kicks off down here again.

Now with this being the secondary, should I even be worrying about this? It's all behind the dash and part of its harness, which I have not screwed with. I just don't know if I should be worrying about crossing wires or not

Also, another thing with this car was I had a jumper wire on a switch that shot power to the EEC when I cranked. I had to press it other wise it was just dead all the time. What circuit should I be running power from so I don't need to use a switch again?

Found out why I wasn't finding everything, too. That large schematic is only for half the dash.

I found the fuel level wire on the DS side of the harness. Since I don't wanna miss anything, can someone post the diagrams/schematics for these connectors?

This format would be AWESOME if possible

Not possible, as Ford doesn’t provide circuit information in their inline connector pinouts

HOWEVER, I can tell you those connectors are C103 for the round one and C215 for the rectangular one. This is what their pages look like in my 1995 EVTM, they should be the same connector numbers in the 1990 one
