Post a picture you took today

Not the best quality, but i took this with my cell phone. S21 FE. Compared to my last phone im sort of impressed. I did adjust contrast/ sharpness and some other stuff, and i believe the phone has some ai nonsense for the camera software too.

I knew it was on its way out. Glad I've got another one at the ready. This is why she stays out of the weather as much as possible 😬

How would they know? And why would they care?
I have all my modifications on both cars listed. Did with Allstate too.

Some how my 90SC with an engine/transmission swap, widebody, "aftermarket" paint, and aftermarket wheels are fine but the blower on my gold car made their underwriters mark it non-renewable. Why they care, idk.

Would you be willing to document the replacement? I have that happening on mine and once I hunt down the part, I would like to know how involved the replacement procedure is. Funny how our cars tend to fail in almost the exact same ways.

I can definitely try to document as much as I can. Remembering to take pictures is what I usually fail to do. I would imagine documenting it would need to move to a different thread?
Birds of a feather fall apart together 🎉

I decapitated a groundhog starting my car at work; bent the fuck out of the ps pulley. and wasted the belt.

I don’t think I fully transported the portion of my cars thread covering my experience with these to this forum but it was quite a task. The big problems you’re going to run into is the bolts will likely be rusted into the IRS bushing sleeves, and if they aren’t there’s the possibility they’re rusted into the captured nuts in the frame rails causing them to just spin and spin.

Before you tackle replacing those brackets, prepare yourself for the worst; new (good used) bolts, new (or good used) IRS bushings, (good used) top cups as those tend to be as rotted as the stabilizer brackets (not needed if you got aftermarket delrin bushings) and be prepared to cut a hole in the sides of the frame rails to access the captured nut(s) if they end up spinning.

If I didn’t prepare for the worst having those parts on hand I probably would have had my car stuck on jackstands for a month
