Post a picture you took today

Nice upgrade! You have four subs? Tell me about your speakers, receiver, any amps and other peripherals please.

Yea 4 monolith 10’s, the amps actually took a shit and ended up getting some PSA audio 500 watt amps and threw them on.

Receiver is an older Onkyo ht-r420, and a pair of Polk audio R50 tower speakers, bottom of the barrel but good enough for me right now. I do want to get another pair of the R50’s and put em on the sides of my couch and maybe a center channel since the receiver had an output for it.

Window motor, cleaning out the debris. There were shards of the plastic pucks all over the worm gear. I was expecting the motor assembly to come off the body in one piece, but instead the armature came out and the brushes popped out. 🤦🏽‍♂️
Have it back together.

I took mine apart like that for the same reason. Couldn't get the brushes to line back up when reinstalling the rotor to put it back together. Had to throw the thing away and buy another one.

Hadn’t thought of that, like I said I used masking tape to hold them in place. But the magnets are so strong it pulled the armature back so an extra pair of hands helped.

Finally had a chance to wash and wax the car. After a 900 mile round trip for our vacation to the U.P. there was plenty of bug splatter on the front. Closing in on 197k miles on the odometer. It ain't perfect, but I do love it. I am always reminded of how great these cars are for long highway cruises. Mostly 75-80 the whole way with air on and it just rides. I think we averaged around 23mpg for the whole trip. Looking at these pics, I'm going to miss the SC/sport wheels. Too bad Cobra brakes don't fit under them.

So, are you going to reduce the 3” to 1.250” and connect the two?

Just the cut and cap - they were originally tied together.. Abandoning the 1.25 line. Working at a local college, they built a brand new facility for auto / diesel classes and are going to demo the old building.

PVC gas pipe was sold here for during the 1970s for a couple years and Spears flooded the market. Ive been finding this gas pipe running through storm drains and even used for irrigation. Makes for a dangerous situation.
