Post a picture you took today

I’m on vacation this week so I figured I get some stuff done. Sent my chip back to get re-tuned for the 94, and I dropped my Turbo Coupe off for some tailpipes and tips,

Well…. I hate the tips. I think they look awful and over sized. 🤮

IMO the tips would look good if it was just a single exhaust setup (Guess it would be just tip). Isn't that a 4 cyl? Does it actually have dual exhaust, out or is it just splitting at the back?

Plus they're at unequal distance from the edges, no?
Unfortunately, that’s the way it is, there’s more room on the passenger side than there is the drivers side.

Yep, 4 cylinder. It’s dual from the mid pipe to the rear, I read that the automatics came with dual, and the manuals came with single, or vice versa I can’t remember. I was trying to go for the Mustang notch back look.

Those are the wrong tips if going for the notchback Mustang look. Those weren’t really separate tips, they were a polished stainless pipe with an angled cut on the end. I would order a set of tailpipes for a Mustang, and you can cut and extend them further forward so the rear is actually the Mustang tip and have it reach the back of the tbird.
Also just because there is more room on one side is no excuse to have the tailpipes uneven. If you can’t go higher on one side, go lower on the other, but having them different is just shoddy workmanship in my opinion. But then again I get totally OCD about stuff like that.

That’s what I ordered, and I told my exhaust guy what to do, but for some reason he put those monstrosities on.
I’m just as ocd, so I’m kind of embarrassed to drive it like this.
I’m probably going to chop these off and mock up something myself now that I have a starting point.

That looks good from that angle .. can you take a picture of your TC from that same perspective for a comparison ?
Here’s a video

What size are the tailpipes and what size are the tips? I agree the tips are too big. Are you running stock geometry rear suspension?
They’re 2.25” I had ordered the Mustang tailpipes and told my exhaust guy what to do, but for some reason he didn’t extend them and put these ugly ass tips on.
It’s lowered, chopped springs. 😳

Yeah those tips have gotta go. Being able to see half the actual exhaust and then the expansion to the tips just looks all sorts of wrong. To add to Mike’s point of the Foxbody “tips” they also follow the slight upward angle of the quarter panel which is a big part of why they look so nice.

Same as Marauder:

+1
Especially on a car that's otherwise so pristine.

Marauder was what I was going for with mine
