I have never seen that brushed (instead of chrome) strip across the taillights. That's stock?
89-90 LS(base) only. Most of them are so extinct with their 3.8/DOA combo the rare XR7 seems as or more common these days with their red taillight section

Unfortunately, that’s the way it is, there’s more room on the passenger side than there is the drivers side.Plus they're at unequal distance from the edges, no?
Yep, 4 cylinder. It’s dual from the mid pipe to the rear, I read that the automatics came with dual, and the manuals came with single, or vice versa I can’t remember. I was trying to go for the Mustang notch back look.Isn't that a 4 cyl? Does it actually have dual exhaust, out or is it just splitting at the back?

That’s what I ordered, and I told my exhaust guy what to do, but for some reason he put those monstrosities on.Those are the wrong tips if going for the notchback Mustang look. Those weren’t really separate tips, they were a polished stainless pipe with an angled cut on the end. I would order a set of tailpipes for a Mustang, and you can cut and extend them further forward so the rear is actually the Mustang tip and have it reach the back of the tbird.
Also just because there is more room on one side is no excuse to have the tailpipes uneven. If you can’t go higher on one side, go lower on the other, but having them different is just shoddy workmanship in my opinion. But then again I get totally OCD about stuff like that.
Here’s a videoThat looks good from that angle .. can you take a picture of your TC from that same perspective for a comparison ?
They’re 2.25” I had ordered the Mustang tailpipes and told my exhaust guy what to do, but for some reason he didn’t extend them and put these ugly ass tips on.What size are the tailpipes and what size are the tips? I agree the tips are too big. Are you running stock geometry rear suspension?
To be fair, he did a great job on my 94 and my truck.OK, I'm not going to see him for my car!
