Electric? Haven't seen one like that around here.

Wowsers. From the wiki page on them:
The ICE variant has an estimated fuel efficiency of 14.7 mpg‑US (16.0 L/100 km), decreasing to 8.6 mpg‑US (27 L/100 km) when the air conditioning is on. For comparison, the earlier LLV (built 1987–94) and FFV (2000–01) have an average observed fuel consumption of 8.2 and 6.9 mpg

6mpg drop from AC? What the hell! The LLV drop is about typical for AC usage

I’m not sure if the one I saw was gas or EV but I’d not expect our area to go EVs with these.

That and I was also shocked at the mileage for the old S-10 chassis based vehicles. Seems like it would be more efficient to deliver the mail with a '69 F-250 with a 390 pulling an enclosed trailer.

I’m guessing they must be rated in a way that reflects the constant stop-start usage rather than the more typical city driving of a consumer vehicle.

I was watching a clip about transponders in MA, and noticed something on the left side of the screen. That vinyl top though. 🤮

Illinois switched to the stickers instead of the transponders too and I hate it, I do not like putting stickers on my windows!!!!

I hate any kind of stickers on my vehicles, anytime I get a car and it has the dealership decal on it, the first thing I do is rip that off.

I don't think I fully adopted this mindset until 2016 when I removed the dealer-installed pinstripes from the Thunderbird, but my thought about the toll stickers is to stick them to a clear static cling vinyl sheet, then stick that to the windshield. Or maybe the toll stickers are static cling already. IDFK. I've never used the HOT lanes here.
