Tesla Cybertruck threatening F-150 Lightning sales

Kind of a grey area on the Volt.

Basically, the Volt's ICE is coupled to the ring gear within the transmission, which at times spins up to provide direct mechanical power when the batteries are near depleted.

iirc, trains are 200k lbs of torque. electric is the only thing that can deal.

Steam power will always be superior to diesel-electric to me in terms of awesomeness, regardless of pulling capacity.

Every year NKP765 comes to the CVSR for excursions, it's been a few years since I've gone. Looks like they come back in April though... :)

Steam is much better for any train I want to ride on. Not to say I've ridden on many, mostly illegally, lol. I've stood in a tunnel a couple of times as one passed by; that's up there with a 747 taking off overhead, as far as noise, lol. I've caught a train from my house up the mountain a couple of times. (illegal as hell, btw)They often have to stop out from my house to wait for other trains to take a switch. If they arent loaded with coal or cars, they're going up the mountain. Cars go to chatanooga, coal goes to kingston or watts bar. Before 9/11,they used to post schedules. I think dollywood in gatlinburg still runs a steam locomotive,on a private track.
Yup
I rode it the first time in the 60's, when it was Silver dollar city, and there was a staged train robbery/shootout on the ride. That ended in the 70's.
