On the MN12s, are the door locks different than the trunk lock? Meaning, is it a different key?

My 96 is. I think the 97 I had was the same key.

My early model has a different key for the trunk, while the doors and ignition are the same, maybe all the early models were like that? and I know its factory like that too, mines of course a Canadian car so it might be different for your guys' early model cars

My trunk / glovebox key is the oval key.

All 89-96 cars had 2 keys, one for the doors and ignition, and one for the trunk and glove box. All 97 cars got one key which works everything.

But to reiterate the trunk key indeed opens the locking trunk button. The button next to the electric fuel door button
