I like my V8 rumble but don’t write off SCs. They make the 4.6 4V live up to its “torqueless wonder” reputation.
 
I wouldn't. Ford always claimed 300 hp out of them. And a lighter block. And I'd have to imagine you can actually see the oil filter, lol. It's pretty clear they never intended to use the 4.6 until after the emissions reuirements hit.

I read something about the dohc 4.6, about the time the old man got the Cougar now known as Lazarus. 1998, about january, in a sweetheart deal. :)
