What did you do with your Thunderbird Today?

North Jersey Thunderbird Club show. Good turnout and their first show in 6 years. MadMikeyL came with his 5 speed swapped 97 too.

Eric, that was great that they could get the cars under cover like that. Mikey and I kept moving around to stay in the shade! 🥵

Renewed my Hagerty policy for the Thunderbird today. I've always had it on a montly payment plan which is usually around $25-30 a month.

Got my renewal notice earlier this month and learned that my annual premium went down. Only problem is it dropped below their threshold for allowing a monthly payment, so I had to pay in full for the whole year.

Definitely made sure their customer care heard my complaints about hearing this with less than a month's notice.

Finally replaced the evap purge valve, flow sensor, and an elbow for one of the lines going into the evap cannister that had disintegrated into nothing to fix the P1443 because what better time to do a repair you've been putting off for over a year than the day that you are supposed to take the car on a 6 hour drive when you are already running late? Turns out the car ran great and the CEL didn't come back on at all during the drive.

I should talk to them again about my Tbird.

Definitely worth a call. I have my value set at $4000 with $100k/300k liability and $0/$500 comp/collision deductibles. My annual premium with a clean record in Tennessee is about $325. They don't do mileage checks but I tell them I put 500 to 1000 a year on it, which is honestly an overestimate.

That premium includes their Drivers Club membership, which pays for itself if you have a service call or buy a set of Michelins. I didn't have Hagerty in North Carolina, but my Erie premiums in Apex were significantly lower than they are here.

Last time I talked to them they offfered me 10K in coverage. I asked for more as I have over 10K in my engine and power train alone.
